DIVERSE PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
I have over 20 years of experience across public, private, and third sectors. This includes a decade with a global professional services firm and a leadership role in a high-growth technology business.
I’ve held several Non-executive roles, including Board and Committee chair. This diverse background allows me to bring real-world experience and practical insights to my coaching. I know how people think, how organisational cultures develop, and how to cultivate positive teams.
I can understand and address the challenges you face.

PERSONALISED APPROACH
My clients often describe working with me as finding the missing piece to their puzzle. I listen, reflect, and hold space to facilitate transformational change.
I believe you already have the answers within you; my role is to help you uncover them through insightful questions and supportive guidance.
COMMITMENT TO CORE VALUES
I like to share my values because they say more about who I am than where I’ve worked or my qualifications. I work best with people who share similar values.

“I knew I had more potential but needed someone impartial to navigate me – my coaching with Sarah has made me realise the piece which had been missing in the jigsaw puzzle!”

CORE VALUES
CURIOSITY
A few years ago, I came across the phrase “intellectual curiosity”, and that resonated with me.
I enjoy working with a new client in a business I know nothing about. Then, I get to understand what’s important, how it all works, and where the key stakeholders are.
I bring strong analytical skills, a fresh perspective, and years of expertise to the conversation.
And I’m curious about other people. What they’re thinking and how they’re feeling.
This curiosity drives me to explore new solutions and perspectives, helping you uncover innovative approaches to your challenges.
COMPASSION
You see, I care about people and want to help them become their best.
But I care about people getting results, too. I want to deliver good value for my clients and get them where they want to be faster.
During our coaching, you will feel supported and understood, with a safe space to grow and achieve your goals.

INCLUSION
I believe we all have something valuable and unique to offer the world or society, and we need to create an environment where that’s allowed to happen; where we can maximise opportunities for people to contribute, and their contributions are recognised and valued.
Today, my career includes a non executive portfolio through which I’ve chosen to support organisations with a strong social purpose.
My commitment to inclusion fosters a diverse and collaborative environment where all voices are heard. To me, it’s important to bring this to organisational cultures, leading to richer discussions and societal change.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Like you, I have invested significant time and effort in developing my skillset to provide the best coaching experience.
Here’s what that looks like:
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales – Member
Association for Coaching – Associate Member
EMCC – Accredited Team Coach (Foundation Level)
Institute of Leadership & Management Executive Coaching and Mentoring (Level 7)
BCS Professional Certificate in Business Architecture
Accredited Real World Group Leader Assessor
This knowledge is at the heart of my individual and team development work and extends into my governance and strategy consultancy work.
I am also a Mental Health First Aider, so I’m equipped to deal with and support my clients’ well-being if they are struggling. This allows me to offer a holistic approach to my coaching services.

FROM HUMAN TO HUMAN
I was born a Geordie and grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. I am now based in Stockport with my partner and Ruby, our excitable Border Terrier.
I love nothing more than being by the sea or walking near the mountains and lakes of Cumbria (appreciated all the more when there’s a local pub at the end of the walk).
Clients like working with me for my approachability, honesty, and sense of humour.
There’s always a bit of humour in my work, even if we’re talking about serious matters. At some point, we will laugh about it as well because life’s too short, isn’t it?
If you’re looking for a thinking partner, a critical friend, and a leadership coach to help you achieve your goals and ambitions…..you’ve found her.
